Period style office accommodation in the Clifton area continues to attract new businesses.
Commercial property specialists at Colliers International had to think outside of the box when lifestyle advisors LighterLife launched a search for new office space in the area.
Richard Wright from the national offices team said: “LighterLife were looking to locate into a period building in Clifton, which continues to be a must-have address in Bristol attracting large numbers of locally based professional firms.”
LighterLife chose to move to 83 Alma Road near the junction of Whiteladies Road and Clifton Down Shopping Centre.
Richard Wright said: “The move necessitated some reconfiguration of the building, which is owned by our clients the Federation of Master Builders.”
The move saw the lower ground floor tenant agreeing to relocate upstairs, signing a new lease. Lighter Life was then able to take approximately 650 sq ft on the lower ground floor.
He went on: “Clifton continues to draw significant business from local professional firms such as solicitors, architects and doctors. A flexible approach and willingness to think a little differently can sometimes come up trumps even in must-have locations such as this.”
LighterLife has been operating for 20 years across the UK offering a pioneering weight loss and weight management programme and helping people across the UK lose weight.
Spokesman Mark Sutton said: “We are very pleased to have secured space in the heart of this community as it puts us in the frontline of a busy business and residential area where we will enjoy maximum exposure and ease of access to support the local community with their weight loss or weight management needs.”
