Birchwood Park, the north west’s largest out-of-town business destination, is delighted to welcome global environmental services provider Tradebe to the park. BE Group and JLL were the acting agents for Birchwood Park.
Tradebe, which has over 80 sites across the world, is focused on its goal to create a more sustainable world through a range of waste management services. This includes providing flexible, innovative and technologically driven solutions for the processing and the recovery of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Its clients work across various sectors including industrial, healthcare and radioactive.
In its recent move, Tradebe has created its Northern Hub within Chadwick House at Birchwood Park. The environmental service provider will be bringing several functions, including customer services, to the Birchwood Park site, which will play a key role in the business both nationally and internationally.
Birchwood Park’s wellbeing offer was a factor behind Tradebe’s relocation. The Park’s ready-made wellbeing package, which includes the on-site gym Alive & Well, offers a discounted and bespoke membership programme to Tradebe staff and other occupiers.
Due to Tradebe having a number of sites and offices nationwide, Birchwood Park’s EngineRooms will provide ideal facilities to accommodate everything from team lunches to larger meetings, and even conferences.
Fran Morrissy, Head of Marketing at Tradebe, commented: “We’re delighted to be taking an office space here at Birchwood Park and we’re already settled in Chadwick House – just a stone’s throw away from the lake and EngineRooms.
“What sets the Park aside from other business destinations are the employee focussed facilities such as the informal meeting spaces, cafes, on-site gym and the nursery. We’re sure all our staff, both working at the Park or visiting from one of our other sites, will be able to benefit from what Birchwood Park has to offer.”
Alongside Tradebe, Birchwood Park recently welcomed a number of new occupiers to its business community. International Engineering experts SEMP recently expanded to Birchwood Park, citing the need to grow its team as a motivation behind the move to a larger office space. The Park also welcomed an influx of businesses to its small suite offices, with a flexible leasing offer meaning small businesses eyeing a bigger office space in the near-future are given an easy opportunity to do so.
The Park continues to grow its office and warehouse offering. Just last month, Birchwood Park started work on its latest speculative industrial development, which is set to bring 161,000 square feet of warehouse space to the region.
Martin O’Rourke, Commercial Director at Birchwood Park, added: “Birchwood Park has for over 20 years been recognised as the region’s leading out-of-town destination for business, and Tradebe’s arrival to the Park only strengthens this reputation, as well as reaffirming Warrington as one of the fastest growing and vibrant business communities in the North.
“We are delighted to hear Tradebe is already settling in and we look forward to seeing the Tradebe team around the Park over the next coming weeks!”
