Leading South Coast law firm Steele Raymond has announced the appointment of commercial property solicitor Martin Logan to its ever-expanding Property Group in Bournemouth.
Martin, who joins Steele Raymond’s Legal 500 ‘Top-Tier’ commercial property team as a partner after 15 years at Blake Morgan, brings a wealth of commercial real estate expertise to the firm. Since qualifying as a solicitor in 2003, Martin has acted for a variety of clients including retail occupiers, pension funds, commercial landlords and tenants.
Martin has developed a security sensitive client base, typically in the defence, aerospace and security sector, as well as currency exchange and currency production, and the production of identity documentation. Martin has also had considerable experience acting for nationally recognised retail occupiers including a national coffee retailer.
Martin’s arrival at Steele Raymond brings the number of partners in the firm’s Property Group to eight and he becomes the twentieth partner across the firm after the recent appointments of residential property partner Holly Dennis, residential development partner Christine Kessler-Robinson and contentious probate partner Louise Maidment.
Commenting on his appointment, Martin said:
“I am delighted to be joining the Steele Raymond team. The firm is making great positive strides with their recent appointments, which builds on its already excellent skills base and reputation. I am excited to be getting involved in various ongoing projects and bringing my experience and strong track record to further enhance Steele Raymond’s offering to clients.”
Chris Twaits, Partner and Head of the firm’s Commercial Property Team, said:
“We are delighted to welcome a solicitor of Martin’s calibre to Steele Raymond, he has an outstanding reputation for his work with a broad range of commercial property clients.
“Martin’s expertise and areas of specialism add yet another dimension to our growing Property Group and his arrival compliments the stellar team we have built in recent years, whilst cementing Steele Raymond’s position as one of the leading providers of commercial property legal services across the South Coast.”
When asked about his hopes for the future at Steele Raymond, Martin commented:
“My track record is to consolidate an existing client base, and to then work with those clients in achieving their current and future needs. I want to do that at Steele Raymond, and I anticipate that the Commercial Property team will continue to grow as we develop those client relationships. I like to see our clients succeed because it usually means that we are succeeding too! And the backdrop to these hopes are that I want to do it in a rewarding and happy working environment.”
