Sports retailer Nike is the latest brand to join Liverpool Shopping Park.
Nike will occupy the 10,050 sq. ft unit formerly occupied by fashion retailer Outfit, on a ten-year lease.
James Maule-Ffinch, Senior Asset Manager at The Derwent Group, which owns Liverpool Shopping Park said: “This letting shows there continues to be confidence in the best retail locations.
“This is the first time Nike has joined the group’s tenant portfolio. We are delighted they’re joining such a well-established line-up of great brands at Liverpool Shopping Park.”
CSP and McMullen RE acted for The Derwent Group.
The new store is expected to open in the second half of the year.
Liverpool Shopping Park opened in October 2017 and boasts a high-profile frontage onto Edge Lane. The park is home to many successful brands including Next, M&S Food Hall, River Island, H&M, Chiquito, TK Maxx and Smyths Toys.
Liverpool Shopping Park is owned by Albert Gubay Trustees Ltd on behalf of The Albert Gubay Charitable Foundation which, through its operating subsidiaries, The Derwent Group of companies, generates income from property investment and development to grant to charitable causes. The charity, which was incorporated by the Charity Commission in the UK in February 2022, currently donates in excess of £12 million every year.
The group’s retail portfolio extends to 1.74m sq. ft across nine retail parks in the north of England.
