Tile Mountain, one of the UK’s largest and expanding tile merchants, has taken on a new showroom and trade counter unit in Nottingham. The new showroom is prominently located along Lenton Lane surrounded by a number of occupiers including BMW Sytner, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Audi, B&Q, Screwfix and more. The deal has been agreed between FHP Property Consultants, acting for the Landlord and Knight Frank acting on behalf of Tile Mountain for the new letting of a refurbished trade counter unit, which was formerly occupied by Plumbase and prior to that Michael Pavis Plumbing.
Chris Proctor of FHP Property Consultants who acted on behalf of Landlord commented:
“It is fantastic to have secured the fast-growing and exciting occupier of Tile Mountain on a long term lease. They will be a good addition to Nottingham and have secured a very prominent position in the heart of Nottingham’s trade & car dealership area. This was a long deal that required everyone to work together, so a big thank you to all involved; Tile Mountain, Knight Frank, DLA Piper Law, Node Building Consultancy and Office Innovations to achieve this result.“
Edward Kennerley of Knight Frank who acted on behalf of Tile Mountain commented:
“We are delighted to work with Tile Mountain once again on the acquisition of this new store. Tile Mountain are a superb example in the growth of ecommerce, but they continue to invest in key retail & trading locations such as here in Nottingham. Knight Frank continue to seek out new premises and look forward to further announcements in the near future.”
Tile Mountain Group Chairman, Mo Iqbal, said:
“We’re delighted to be bringing what will be our fifth flagship store to Nottingham as part of our retail estate expansion programme.
This unit is ideal for the type of retail experience that Tile Mountain offers – a tile shopping experience like no other in a large, spacious environment with an array of displays showcasing over one thousand different styles of tiles and an unrivalled selection of outdoor tiles and tiling products.
We’re incredibly happy to have secured such a site and thank both Knight Frank and FHP Property for their efforts in helping us to bring Tile Mountain to the city of Nottingham.”
