Property consultancy Vail Williams has appointed a senior surveyor at its new Dorset office.
Ben Duly, who will be based at the firm’s county base at Everdene House, Wessex Fields, Bournemouth, was previously with Goadsby Commercial.
Russell Miller, a Vail Williams partner who leads the Dorset office, said: “Ben is a versatile and professional commercial surveyor with expertise and a proven track record across the investment, office and industrial property markets. As we continue to grow our services here on the South Coast for clients, Ben will be a valued support.”
With a degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship, Ben plans to undertake his Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) and become a Chartered Surveyor.
Areas of expertise by Ben include commercial property investment, acquisitions and disposals and commercial agency.
He said: “I’ve watched with interest Vail Williams’ market growth in the region – it feels like a great fit at an exciting time for the business.
“I’ve joined the firm’s investment department and look forward to working with Russell, Richard Dawtrey, who is Vail Williams’ lead partner in investment in the UK, and the rest of the team.”
The appointment is the latest by the firm on the South Coast – Oliver Hockley joined as a property surveyor working out of Vail Williams’ Lakeside North Harbour business campus in Portsmouth.
Ben joins a former Goadsby Commercial colleague, Bryony Solan, an Associate who has been with Vail Williams since last year.
Record-breaking revenues of £16.86 million for 2020-21 were reported by Vail Williams earlier this year.
