A refurbished industrial unit in Warrington has been let to third party logistics provider Kammac in a deal that is one of the North West’s largest existing warehouse lettings so far this year.
B8 Real Estate completed the deal on behalf of the landlord, an institutional investor. Warrington 379 is a 378,942 sq ft unit located on Dallam Lane adjacent to the Warrington Wolves Stadium and close to junction 9 of the M62. The property was previously occupied by Asda.
Kammac, which is based in Skelmersdale, is one of the region’s most active third-party logistics operators. This latest addition brings its current warehousing portfolio to approximately 3m sq ft.
Steve Johnson of B8 Real Estate commented: “The scale and specification of Warrington 379 lends itself ideally to a third-party logistics user looking to utilise the building as a shared user facility. There is currently limited availability of properties such as Warrington 379 and therefore we were pleased to agree terms and exchange contracts with Kammac within weeks.”
Paul Kamel, Managing Director of Kammac, added: “Kammac is proud to add Warrington 379 to its extensive warehousing profile. This addition enables Kammac to further its logistics capabilities around the UK.”
Andrew Littler of Littler & Associates acted for Kammac, while Knight Frank were joint agents with B8 Real Estate.
