Global property adviser Knight Frank has completed the sale of Wyck Hill House Hotel & Spa, on behalf of investors, to Fidera Vecta and Weight Partners Capital, off a guide price of £7.5m.
Wyck Hill House Hotel is a historic country house hotel which is Grade II listed and dates back to the eighteenth century. Situated in the Northeast corner of the county of Gloucestershire, the property is located in a highly sought-after location close to Stow-on-the-Wold and in the heart of the Cotswolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Set within approximately 50 acres and comprising 60 en suite bedrooms, a purpose-built spa and a restaurant, the hotel caters for a mix of commercial and leisure travel.
Stow-on-the-Wold is a popular market town whilst The Cotswolds are a renowned tourist destination, attracting approximately 23 million visitors annually. There are a number of tourist attractions in the local area including award-winning and world-famous Daylesford farm shop, Cheltenham racecourse, and Blenheim Palace.
Wyck Hill House Hotel is situated on the A424, a short distance from the A429 which leads directly through the Cotswolds, with access to both the M40 and M5 motorways and Kingham railway station, which is situated five miles from the hotel, provides direct trains every hour to London Paddington.
