Browne Jacobson has added two new partners to its growing operation in Birmingham. The new arrivals will bring the number of partners at the Victoria Square based firm to 25.
Ailsa Roberts has more than 18 years experience as a personal injury lawyer. Ailsa was Partner and Operations Manager for law firm DAC Beachcroft, during which she played a key role in the re-organisation of the firm’s high volume personal injury brand, DAC Beachcroft Claims Limited formerly B2 from Beachcroft.
Browne Jacobson’s nationally recognised 70-strong personal injury team acts for leading insurers, commercial & public bodies and professional organisations and is one of the largest in the Midlands.
Regulatory lawyer Rachel Lyne joins from Staffordshire based law firm Frisby & Co Solicitors, where she was a non-executive director. Rachel started her legal career at Eversheds before spending a further eight years in the Regulatory Team at DLA Piper in Birmingham.
Rachel qualified in 2001 and has extensive contentious and non-contentious experience dealing with a range of regulatory matters including corporate manslaughter, health and safety, fire safety, CQC investigations and registrations, licensing, food safety and financial crime.
She has acted for a number of high profile clients facing Health & Safety Executive and environmental investigations into serious incidents including Buncefield Oil Depot, Channel Tunnel and major national and international retailers, manufacturers and construction firms.
She is also rated in independent legal directory Chambers for her health & safety and environmental credentials with clients praising her for being passionate about her practice area and really focused on getting the right commercial outcome for the client.”
