Leading national audit, tax and advisory firm and not-for-profit specialist Crowe Clark Whitehill has topped the 2012 Charity Audit Survey league table, ranked by audit fees, for the fourth consecutive year.
The annual survey, run by Charity Finance magazine, draws on responses from the charity audit market, alongside information from the UK’s top 400 charities based on income. The result is a comprehensive overview of the current state of the audit market in the charity sector.
Partner Helen Drew, head of the Not-for-Profit practice at Crowe Clark Whitehill in the Midlands, said: “We are delighted to maintain our place at the top of the league table for another year. As the lead providers of audit and related services to the charity sector, we take the sector very seriously and charities are a key part of our business.
“Charities play a vital role and are facing many new challenges and also new opportunities. The task of setting priorities remains as difficult as ever; matching the demands to satisfy short-term needs against pressure for the resources required to achieve long-term solutions.
“We are committed to continually developing our services to provide real assistance in helping them deliver against their important goals in a tough economic environment.”
