Michelle Mills has joined the office agency team at the Birmingham office of CBRE.
She moves from Coventry firm Bromwich Hardy, where she was a partner and well-known office agent covering the Warwickshire market.
Previously, at Bidwells, where she was head of the office, research and development team, Michelle covered the Cambridge and East Midlands markets. She was responsible for the successful letting of the office and lab space at Cambridge Science Park and Cambridge BioMedical campus.
A graduate of the University of Leicester, Michelle resides in the East Midlands and boasts an expansive network of regional and national contacts.
At CBRE Michelle will take on responsibility for the out-of-town markets, covering Nottingham, Leicestershire, Warwickshire and wider West Midlands.
Michelle, director, said: “My appointment comes at a time when the Warwickshire and East Midlands markets, in particular, are seeing an uptick in activity. My experience in the life sciences brokerage complements CBRE’s existing expertise in the sector and I look forward to working on recent new instructions including the region’s pre-eminent life sciences scheme, Birmingham Health & Innovation Campus.”
Theo Holmes, who recently took up the role of head of office agency in Birmingham, added: “With Michelle spearheading out-of-town and providing valuable experience advising and transacting with the research and development and life sciences sectors, Liz Bailey in charge of occupier representation, Dan White fronting flexible office space and with access to a dedicated data analyst, I can’t think of a stronger team in the Midlands.”
