Having been based in Birmingham since its inception, Box.co.uk has taken the decision to uproot and find a new home within a new facility in Tamworth.
After outgrowing their current office and warehousing space in Minworth, brought about through incredible year on year growth, the company has decided to move 9 miles up the M42 to a larger unit within St. Modwen Park Tamworth, in order to continue facilitating its rapid growth.
A massive seven times bigger than its current occupancy, the new 119,000 square foot building will offer the company extensive warehousing space, larger open plan offices and meeting rooms, as well as greater parking for employees and customers alike.
With plans to open a display showroom, as well as a click and collect service point, the premises will also welcome customers on site. It will allow savvy tech enthusiasts to purchase, collect, and drive away with their goods the same day.
Developed by St. Modwen Logistics, a leading logistics developer and manager, St. Modwen Park Tamworth occupies 32-acres, is located at Junction 10 of the M42 and has successfully attracted a variety of large businesses. Box will occupy the fourth and final phase building.
The building has achieved a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating showing best practice in the environmental performance of the building and its surrounding environment. PV solar panels provide power to the building and its 20 electric vehicle charging points. High specification heating and lighting systems reduce running costs, and emphasis has also been placed on using low carbon products. These sustainable elements of the building and its environment have been key to Box’s decision to locate to the development.
The Box team will also have access to a large wildlife area that has been created on the site which also incorporates an outdoor fitness Trim Trail.

Box.co.uk aim to relocate their business from their current office and warehousing in Minworth to the new facility in Tamworth by mid 2022.
