Property consultancy Vail Williams is relocating its Thames Valley office to Reading town centre.
The firm moves from Thames Valley Park to the landmark Apex building adjacent to the town’s railway station in Forbury Road at the end of February.
The new office, currently being refurbished externally, is set to provide a mix of collaboration and concentration space with flexible client facing and video conference facilities.
Vail Williams’ Thames Valley office consists of a team of more than 45 people, making it the largest multi-disciplinary team in the region.
Specialisms include Agency & Development; Building Consultancy; Business Rates; Facilities Management; Investment; Lease Advisory; Occupier Advisory; Planning; Project Management; Property Asset Management and Valuation.
David Thomas, Regional Managing Partner for Vail Williams said: “This move will enable us to be at the heart of the capital of the Thames Valley region.

Mr Thomas added that relocating to a site next to Reading station would enable sustainable travel between offices with direct or quick rail access to the network of Vail Williams offices with 180 staff across Birmingham, Bournemouth, Gatwick, London, Portsmouth, Southampton, and Surrey.

In addition to better travel options, the newly-refurbished space with contemporary M&E (mechanical and electrical systems) will also assist Vail Williams in meeting ongoing carbon reduction goals.
