Self-storage specialist, Storage Giant, which started out as a single unit facility and is now the largest private self-storage firm in Wales, has welcomed its 5,000th customer through the door at its Cardiff facility.
Storage Giant began its business life during recession, in 2007, and it now boasts 12 facilities across South West Wales, The Midlands and the M4 corridor. The firm has just cut the ribbon on a new site near Birmingham.
Managing Director, Simon Williams says: “I’m very pleased to see our 5,000th License Agreement being signed at our Cardiff facility thanks to our impressive team there. Cardiff is a key site for us and as well as offering space for private and business storage we are very proud of the work we do to incubate SME’s and start-ups at sites like Cardiff. This is an important function of the business and it has a valuable impact upon the local economies we serve.
Storage Giant has a stable of other sites which will come onstream shortly – in Bridgend, Witney, Kidderminster and Willenhall, as well as other sites across Wales and the M4 corridor. The company is also due to open new premises at a £30m mixed-use scheme in Nottingham.
