A Birmingham office building just outside the city’s Clean Air Zone has been acquired in a £750,000 deal, commercial property consultants Burley Browne have announced.
Aston House, a 6,400 sq ft two-storey office building at Aston Road North, has been sold to business group Knightsbridge Developments. The property comprises ground and first floor offices together with a storage area and roller shutter access.
Prominently situated on Aston Road North with extensive frontage to the busy Dartmouth Circus Island, Aston House benefits from excellent access to the various trunk roads surrounding Birmingham City Centre and Midland Motorway network.
Senior surveyor Steven Hannaford, of Burley Browne, said: “Acting on behalf of a private investor, we were delighted to be able to achieve the full asking price for Aston House.
“There was a substantial level of early interest in the property from developers, but we concluded the deal with an owner-occupier who plans to amalgamate several offices into one location.”
He added: “The Clean Air Zone is an important consideration for many businesses as they want to avoid being hit with the emissions charge. Aston House is in an ideal location, being just outside the ring road with excellent access to the city centre, the A38, M6 and the wider motorway network.”
