Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has appointed a head of sustainability and environmental and social governance (ESG). Former head of EMEA sustainability at WeWork, Federico Montella, will be responsible for the design and delivery of LSH’s ESG policy and sustainability targets, both internally and on behalf of clients.
The new role will involve challenging the business to set and meet environmental and social targets, as well as expanding its consultancy offer.
Federico, who will be based out of LSH’s new London HQ, will operate nationally across the firm’s entire office network and client base.

Recent commitments from LSH include a pledge to achieve net zero carbon status by 2030 and to ensuring that all business lines provide market leading ESG compliant products and services.
Prior to WeWork, Federico held senior roles in sustainability consultancy at leading architecture practices including, HLM, Sheppard Robson and Auckett Swanke. He is a regular collaborator with ULI’s European Sustainability Council and a respected author and presenter in the field of sustainability.
