Offices specialists report increasing numbers of smaller deals

Offices experts at Colliers International are seeing increased activity around Bristol’s commercial centre with high quality accommodation continuing to attract interest.

The latest deal sees office space suppliers Can Mezzanine taking 2,310 sq ft on the first floor of Hanover House in Queen Charlotte Street for five years with a three year break.

James Preece from Colliers International said the deal was typical of current activity in the small to medium office sector.

“We are seeing increased activity at the lower end of the market with firms targeting high quality or refurbished accommodation in the 2,000-5,000 sq ft bracket.

“High availability in the city centre means businesses can pick and choose their locations and new or refurbished space is clearly winning out over secondary stock.”

Hanover House is situated in the heart of Bristol’s commercial district close to Queen Square and the floating harbour and within walking distance of Cabot Circus and Temple Meads.
Around 3,200 sq ft of space remains available on the fourth floor. The building is marketed jointly by Colliers International and Hartnell Taylor Cook.
