Leading UK property developer, SevenCapital has completed the lease on a 63,484 sq ft industrial and logistics unit in Northampton to leading global manufacturer, HellermannTyton.
Primely positioned at Pineham Business Park and within ‘The Golden Triangle of Logistics’ – next to J15a on the M1 – Seven 60 boasts a 50m (minimum) service yard and floor loading capacity of 50kN/sq m, along with fully fitted, modern offices.
SevenCapital has agreed a competitive 10-year lease without break with HellermannTyton, with a five-year review to the higher Open Market Value or RPI, collared at 1% and capped at 3% per annum compounded.
The deal marks another major milestone for SevenCapital, following the lease of its additional 41,786 sq ft unit (Seven 40) to global manufacturer and distributor, Conglom in July 2018. Both units neighbour other big ticket occupiers including BMW, Sainsbury’s, Levi’s, Carlsberg, Royal Mail, Morrisons and The White Company.
Simon Dicken, senior director at SevenCapital, said: “This deal marks another major milestone for SevenCapital on our debut into the industrial development market and we are delighted to welcome HellermanTyton to Seven 60. It was a pleasure working with Tony Crisp and Matthew Hunter to get the terms of the deal agreed.
“Built to high quality specification, Seven 60 is perfectly equipped to facilitate HellermanTyton’s manufacturing and distribution operations with its unrivalled connectivity for servicing Northampton and the wider Midlands, East and South-East areas.”
Tony Crisp from HellermannTyton, commented: “We are delighted to work with SevenCapital. The move to Seven 60 marks a significant milestone for us as a business and we are thrilled to expand our operation in Northampton and benefit from its unrivalled transport network.”
