Salmon Harvester and Possfund have secured their first restaurant tenant for The Loom retail and leisure park in Leigh, Manchester. The duo have secured New York Italian 50’s style restaurant chain Frankie & Benny’s to the scheme.
Frankie & Benny’s has taken unit 4, a 4,000 sq ft property, on a 15 year lease at a rent of £20 per sq ft. The restaurant is due to open in November.
The Loom, a 150,000 sq ft mixed use development, is also home to a 24 hour Tesco Extra Store and a Cineworld multiplex cinema, both of which will open later this year.
Salmon CEO Doug Stewart said: “The opportunity to open alongside the new cinema complex will ensure extended trading opportunities for restaurants on the park.”
On site construction of The Loom finished last month. Frankie & Benny’s has taken the first of three restaurant units available on the park.
Salmon was advised by Lyndon Yeomans and DMR. Reis Short & Co represented Frankie and Benny’s. Possfund was advised by LaSalle.
