The new office is situated in George Street, Birmingham right in the centre of the city’s trendy and iconic Jewellery Quarter district.
The office comprises a detached three-story building of traditional red brick construction surmounted by a hipped slate roof with sky lights rising to a corrugated slate roofed ventilator the length of the ridge. The property dates back to the early 19th Century and is Grade II listed.
Speaking about the move GMI Managing Director Andy Bruce said: “Our team in Birmingham continues to expand exponentially as our order book continues to grow across multiple sectors right across the Midlands.
What has been clear for a while now is that in the face of such growth, we needed more space to support an ever growing headcount so we are pleased to have signed a deal to occupy this incredible building in such an iconic part of Birmingham.
We look forward to welcoming guests to our new space in due course”
The property is located on George Street in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. George Street is a one-way road providing access to Newhall Hill at its junction with Dudley Road from Newhall Street.
