Circa45, the company behind a new vision for flexible working spaces, has signed a lease agreement for the former Next store at Windsor Yards with landlord, AEW UK to open The Tavi, a new members’ club aimed at entrepreneurs and businesses in Windsor and the surrounding areas.
Opening this winter, Tavi will be home to a range of spaces to suit different work styles including a lounge, coworking spaces, meeting rooms, dedicated desks and private offices featuring state-of-the art technology and business services.
Tavi will also offer members the opportunity to use the club as a place to enjoy leisure time with friends and clients in the café/bar. They will also be able to access other facilities including The Mill House, a thriving co-working space in Wooburn Green, Buckinghamshire.
This deal is a sign of how leisure facilities are revolutionising the high street as founder Glenn Bolton explains:
‘The increasing popularity of online shopping has been extremely detrimental to the high street and the pandemic has exacerbated the situation. Despite this there are still huge opportunities for town centres as the rise of leisure and experiential spaces revitalise the High Street and bring more people into towns, boosting the local economy.
‘Our high streets need to be more responsive to local communities and the economy; entrepreneurship is up and corporates are being more flexible than ever. Our aim is to create a network of flexible spaces that take this into account, and support both businesses and the wider community.’
Anthony Peck, Director of Acquisitions adds:
‘We’re excited to be working with AEW UK to bring Tavi to Windsor High Street. Windsor is a beautiful town with a thriving community so we hope that Tavi will bring something new which will benefit local residents and businesses alike.
