Law firm Clarke Willmott LLP has appointed a new Partner to its commercial property team in Taunton.
Adam Burrage specialises in residential and commercial development transactions, acting mainly for national and medium-sized housebuilders. He also advises landowners, promoters and affordable housing providers on a range of issues relating to development and housing provision.
Adam’s appointment is part of a wider expansion of the team which has also seen the recruitment of Associates Melanie Smith and Connie O’Donnell.
Adam said: “I’m delighted to join Clarke Willmott, especially at a time when the commercial property team is experiencing significant growth and success.
“I look forward to working with the firm’s excellent client-base on diverse development transactions as well as continuing to provide bespoke advice to landlords, tenants, buyers and sellers on general commercial property deals.
“I have an enduring personal interest in residential renovation and building which provides a strong basis for viewing development deals through the client lens and helps me give effective guidance to clients on practical matters.”
Tim Walker, team leader of Clarke Willmott’s Taunton-based commercial property team, commented: “As I approach retirement from the partnership, I am delighted that we have been able to recruit Adam who has all the qualities to take forward my caseload over the coming months. I look forward to seeing the continuing growth and influence of the commercial property team in our region.”
