Full-service national law firm Winckworth Sherwood has boosted its growing Oxford and Thames Valley real estate team with the appointment of senior associate Jane Bloomer.
Jane has over 20 years of experience in property litigation, acting for leading high street retailers, property funds, commercial occupiers, landlords and private clients. She advises on a range of commercial and residential property issues and is a landlord and tenant specialist. Jane joins from Howes Percival, where she acted as director of property litigation, managing and supporting clients across the Northampton area.
The announcement reflects Winckworth Sherwood’s focus on the expanding Oxford-Cambridge Arc, as development continues to flourish in the region. Jane is the latest addition to a successful and expanding team, led by Jamie Barton and Richard Mulcock who joined the firm in 2019. The team also welcomed associate Anna Singleton in May of this year.
Jamie Barton, partner at Winckworth Sherwood, comments:
“Jane’s hire boosts our property litigation expertise in one of the country’s most dynamic growth areas. Bringing Jane into the fold is a significant move as our Oxford practice continues to expand in the area. Her considerable knowledge and experience will be invaluable as she works closely with our development and retail teams.”
