Cushman & Wakefield has expanded its Central London Retail Leasing team with the appointment of Megan Hutchinson as Associate.
Hutchinson will be working across a mixture of retail and restaurant instructions in Central London and joins from H&M where she was a Leasing Manager with responsibility for London where the fast-fashion retailer has more than 25 stores.
Prior to that she spent six years at JLL specialising in Central London investment.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Central London Retail team is instructed on high-profile developments across London, including Battersea Power Station, Waterloo London, The Stage in Shoreditch, The Quadrant Arcade on Regent Street, The Royal Exchange, Shaftesbury’s retail portfolio across Carnaby, Soho and Seven Dials and Great Portland Estates’ Bond Street development.
Peter Mace, Head of Central London Retail at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “We are pleased to welcome Megan who brings a wealth of experience to benefit our clients active in Central London. After a challenging 18 months we are now seeing a renewed sense of confidence in the retail property sector as restrictions ease and people return to shopping in person, dining out and making the most of the unrivalled experiences London has to offer.”
Megan Hutchinson said: “Cushman & Wakefield is synonymous with Central London retail and I’m delighted to be joining the market leading team to work on the most exciting retail and leisure destinations in the city.”
Cushman & Wakefield continues to invest into strategic growth areas, which alongside London retail also include Retail Capital Markets. Earlier this month, Cushman & Wakefield’s UK Retail team also announced that Marcus Wood would be returning to the firm as Head of UK Retail Capital Markets, leading the investment team advising on transactional activity in the UK retail and leisure market.
