Zero carbon specialist, Carbon Magics Ltd, has set up a new office at Bond’s Mill, Stonehouse, owned by Robert Hitchins Ltd.
The family-owned company is an engineering, technology, research and business consultancy which specialises in the zero carbon circular economy. Its main focus is on agritech, sustainability and UK-India trade.
Managing Director Priya Vijaykumar said: “Our search for a tranquil business environment suiting our aspirations to start from a smaller space with flexibility to have access to a larger unit in line with our growth projections meant a choice between Stonehouse and Cirencester. Its great connectivity with the M5 and a train station with good connections to London made us select Bond’s Mill at Stonehouse.”
Robert Hitchins’ Helen Hawke welcomed Carbon Magics to Suite 1 of The Wheelhouse at the Bond’s Mill estate which sits alongside the Stroudwater Canal and River Frome in a mix of refurbished Victorian mill buildings and modern commercial premises.
“We’re very pleased to welcome this innovative company to Bond’s Mill and wish them every success with their consultancy venture,” she said.
“The potential for tenants to expand on site as their business grows has always been part of the ethos of Bond’s Mill and we are finding that the market for small and medium size offices remains strong despite – or perhaps because of – the ‘new normal’ where companies wish to cater for staff working partly from home and partly from a well-located and particularly pleasant business environment.”
Bond’s Mill is on the A419 near Stroud. It offers on-site management with 50 tenants in premises ranging from 100 to 15,000 sq ft and accommodates many start-ups as well as established companies such as UK Power Solutions, Omega Resource and RSK Biocensus.
The agent was John Hawkins, of Hawkins Watton, Stroud.
