The industrial property market is in good health as Keygrove Chartered Surveyors report a string of new industrial lettings but predict a shortage of industrial property as demand continues to exceed supply.
Lauren Udall of commercial agents Keygrove says “Businesses are doing well. There are very few business units on the market and we are experiencing strong demand with rents increasing.
At Keygrove, we have achieved a record rent of £12.30 per square foot on a small industrial unit in Nursling. We have also recently let Unit 20 Mitchell Point, Hamble to the air conditioning contractors EMS Ltd and Unit 6 Solent Industrial Estate, Hedge End let to SH Flooring Ltd and we have agreed terms to let a number of other business units.”
