Global relocation specialist K2 Corporate Mobility has moved its headquarters to new hi-spec offices in Guildford town centre in a deal brokered by property consultancy Vail Williams.
K2 has taken the entire 7,464 sq ft (693.4 sq m) fifth floor at Connaught House following reconstruction and remodelling of 42,500 sq ft of new office space at the 255 High Street location by Beltane Asset Management.
The sector-leading independent global mobility, immigration, HR and advisory services provider relocated from Weybridge 11 miles away to the modern new base, which includes 700 sq ft of newly created terrace.
Vail Williams Surveyor Elliot McNish said: “K2 were seeking a new headquarters commensurate with its standing as an international concern and to house an expanding workforce meeting growing business demand.
“Connaught House proved ideal, especially with its high spec finish which was fitted out by FSL Interiors in an outstanding manner. It was pleasing to match this go-ahead company with this sustainable base at the heart of Guildford and with strong transport links.”
K2, founded in 2002 by Chief Executive Officer Nick Plummer now has 11 offices across four continents and 400 partners worldwide.
Nick said: “Our entire ethos as a company is to provide service excellence for clients and take away the stress and distraction for relocating employees moving and changing jobs – and Vail Williams has certainly delivered that for us on this occasion in securing Connaught House.
“Moving to larger offices in Guildford enables us to continue strategic growth and accommodate our dedicated, experienced and hard-working team in a suitable and invigorating environment.”
Savills, Lambert Smith Hampton and Hanover Green acted for City-based Beltane Asset Management.
