Trebor Developments and Hillwood have let their major speculative 411,470 sq ft single industrial development in Doncaster to an undisclosed global logistics company. The occupier has signed a lease for the whole building, which will include a major fitting out package, for which works have commenced.
Bob Tattrie, Managing Partner for Trebor commented: “This deal is an excellent result for our prestigious building in Doncaster and we look forward to working with the occupier on their fit out in order that they can get operational soon. We had keen interest in the building since completion in December and it is fair to say we could have let the building to several parties, such is the strength of market demand for quality industrial accommodation, which Trebor deliver throughout the UK.”
Mike Baugh, Senior Director for CBRE (Leeds), commented: “It has been great to work with Trebor and Hillwood on this project, from site acquisition through to disposal of this impressive development. The letting represents one of the most significant deals in Yorkshire this year and reinforces the strength of logistics market in the region.”
Gateway 4 is located at Junction 4 of the M18 motorway.
Trebor/Hillwood are represented by agents CBRE, Knight Frank and CPP.
The occupier was represented by CBRE (London).
