Commercial property consultants Burley Browne have completed the letting of a Birmingham warehouse unit to a growing storage and distribution operator.
Speeding Trade Ltd has agreed a new 10-year lease on the 24,016 sq ft unit at Cato Street, Nechells.
The company, established in 2016, had outgrown its existing premises in Tipton and chose to expand its operations by relocating to much larger premises, said Burley Browne senior associate director Ben Nicholson who negotiated the deal on behalf of a private landlord.
Ben said: “It’s well documented that there is pent-up demand right across the warehouse and distribution centre as companies seek good quality accommodation in convenient locations.
“Speeding Trade had outgrown their premises in Tipton and were keen to relocate to larger premises in Birmingham. The recently refurbished property at Cato Street suits their requirements perfectly, with good office space, two warehouse areas plus a mezzanine, and a secure yard area.”
The accommodation is situated in Nechells, just off Saltley Road, with nearby access to both Nechells Parkway and the A47 Birmingham Spine Road. Birmingham city centre is two miles away and the nearby A38M Aston Expressway provides access to the M6, M5 and M42 motorways.
