A trio of companies has recently moved to new offices at one of Nottinghamshire’s most prestigious business parks.
GranDeco Group, the National Pest Technicians Associations (NPTA) and Survey Solutions have all relocated to Eastwood Link, the courtyard style office park built by Loughborough-based contractor and developer, William Davis Ltd. Situated on the A610 to the west of Nottingham, Eastwood Link comprises a range of self-contained offices from 2,050 to 2,754 sq ft with dedicated car parking. Each of the three new businesses was looking for premises from which to expand and have taken space collectively amassing almost 6,000 sq ft.
GranDeco, a leading specialist in decorative wallcoverings, relocated from Somercotes in Derbyshire and has taken a 2,094 sq ft unit. “As our work covers the entire UK, we were looking for an office in a centralised location,” explains Helen Didcock, customer service and office manager. “Eastwood was chosen for its convenience as well as layout; the size and high quality presentation of the unit was perfect for our growth plans. This is a long-term move for GranDeco UK and the new office will become a sales and showroom facility for customers.”
For the NPTA, Eastwood’s proximity to the M1 motorway and major road networks made it the most logical option. Barry Sheard, director, commented: “Eastwood’s transport links are superb and made for an easy decision when we were looking to relocate from Kinoulton, Nottinghamshire. Having settled into our new, open plan offices we hope to be able to increase our member services by holding conferences, meetings and training courses on site.”
Richard Glenn, director at Survey Solutions, experts in land, building and underground surveys added: “The size of the new office at Eastwood means it will serve as an excellent base for our Midlands team. From here, we plan to expand our utilities division and hopefully employ many new staff.”
Paul Watkins, project co-ordinator at William Davis concluded: “We are obviously extremely pleased to welcome three new businesses onto the Park, and particularly those with such ambitious development plans. We are confident they will enhance the established professional community at Eastwood and wish them all every success in their new premises.”
