Hampshire based consulting civil and structural engineers WFBA welcome Ryan Purchase into their team.
Ryan joins the WFBA Structures team, working on new projects and refurbishments to fulfil on a busy construction project agenda.
Graduating with a civil engineering degree from Plymouth University, Ryan has moved from Oxford to join WFBA.
He is busy getting to know the various live construction sites that WFBA are advising on. These sites include a new school in Shirley, a refurbishment of an industrial headquarters in Chandlers Ford and the refurbishment of a hospice in West Sussex.
WFBA Director Nick Groves comments: “As consulting civil and structural engineers, we are always keen to see younger members of the civil engineering profession join us. Career development and learning initiatives are a very important aspect of how WFBA operate. And we provide full support to allow staff to see this happen.”
Ryan brings experience dealing with design alterations on multi-storey steel and concrete framed structures, and also plenty of design and feasibility work on historic, commercial and residential projects. These skills complement the current diversity and breadth of knowledge already within WFBA.
New recruit Ryan comments: “WFBA have some exciting new construction projects in the pipeline. I enjoy working on commercial, residential, health and re-purposing projects. And I look forward to providing clients with the level of expertise that WFBA deliver.”
