GLP, a leading investor and developer of logistics buildings and warehouses has announced that it has leased a 278,000 sq ft logistics warehouse unit at its G-Park Doncaster development to a healthcare diagnostics company.
The occupier has signed a long-term lease and taken immediate possession. The development features a best-in-class specification including a BREEAM Very Good fit-out and EPC ‘A’ Rating.
Adrienne Howells, Development Director, GLP said: “We are thrilled to have leased G-Park Doncaster 278 to a brand-new customer who we are delighted to welcome into our broadening portfolio. The market continues to see high levels of demand and constrained supply of best-in-class logistics warehouses and, as such, we continue to look for opportunities to develop high quality assets in strategic locations to meet the needs of our customers.
“We are now pressing on with plans for the last remaining plot at G-Park Doncaster and have submitted planning for a 602,000 sq ft, 20-metre high Grade-A warehouse which offers customers the opportunity to lease the largest and most sustainable logistics building in the North of England. This is a further demonstration of GLP’s commitment to invest within the Yorkshire and the Humber Region and Doncaster specifically which serves as a key strategic location for logistics”.
