Tom Griffiths of global property consultancy Knight Frank in Cardiff has qualified as a Chartered Surveyor, having passed the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) examination.
Tom, who joined Knight Frank in January 2020, is part of the firm’s Logistics & Industrial Team and is responsible for managing much of its multi-let instructions for both local and national clients. His qualification success means he become a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
At Knight Frank Tom has been the lead agent on the disposals of new business unit developments at Atlantic Business Park, Barry and Stone House Business Park where demand for these smaller units has been such that capital values have smashed through the £100 per sq ft mark.
He received his Masters degree in Real Estate Management from UWE Bristol in 2020. He said “It is great to have achieved success with my APC. I would like to thank the team at Knight Frank who supported me through the process and also my former colleagues at Cardiff Council who first gave me my opportunity as a graduate.
“I am looking forward to being able to focus on helping to grow our profile and range of instructions within the market.”
Neil Francis, head of the Logistics and Industrial Team said: “This is just reward for all the effort that Tom has put in in recent years. He has worked hard and this is reflected in how the clients he act for view his input and advice. It is an exciting time within the Industrial market and together we look forward to a busy future.”
