An innovative new product which provides businesses with support and flexibility when leasing and occupying office space has attracted a local marketing company back to Brindleyplace.
Creations Marketing, a training and marketing service provider which specialises in helping small, local businesses, has become the first company to take advantage of Tailored Workspaces, a bespoke concept for Brindleyplace which has been developed by leading real estate advisors Savills and Hines, the estate’s management firm.
The company will be taking fully fitted space for 24 desks, embracing the Tailored Workspaces, on the second floor of the Oozzells Building, marking a return to the estate after previously taking space within 6 Brindleyplace. The business will make the move to its new home next month from its current base at WeWork’s 55 Colmore Row premises.
Tailored Workspaces was launched at Brindleyplace this year and provides three options to help support businesses with office fit-outs, installation of IT systems and the ongoing management of the space with bespoke management services provided to meet tenants’ specific needs.
Prospective tenants can either choose to lease space conventionally, where they take the office fit-out into their own hands; appoint the Brindleyplace specialist team to help design and deliver the office fit-out with IT services, or as a third option, embrace the full provision of services including fit out, full infrastructure and ongoing office management services, designed specifically for their operational needs.
Tailored Workspaces can be used by tenants looking to lease available space at 3 Brindleyplace, 4 Brindleyplace and the Oozells Building, and is suitable for businesses looking to house between 16 and over 250 workstations within their own private office environment.
Nick Williams, Creations Marketing, said: “We really loved our location at Brindleyplace so being able to move back to the estate was a key driver for us, and by using Tailored Workspaces we have been able to move to a space ideally suited to our business needs and the needs of our staff.
“For a small to medium enterprise like ours, flexibility is all important, especially as we begin moving back to our offices as we gradually move out of lockdown restrictions. To be able to move into a space which is fully fitted from the get go will be a huge help for us.
“Brindleyplace is such a fantastic location. Our staff love the range of amenities on our doorstep and the large spaces and canalside location is a real bonus if you need to get out for some fresh air. We have really missed it and we can’t wait to get back to the estate.”
Raj Rajput, Hines, said: “Creations Marketing is a great example of the type of businesses we have tried to support by creating Tailored Workspaces, and to welcome them back to Brindleyplace is testament to the lasting quality of the space we can offer at the estate.
“We have seen great interest from businesses of all shapes and sizes looking to take advantage of the different options Tailored Workspaces brings to the market, whether it is flexible lease terms or expert advice on fitting out a workspace.
“Brindleyplace is a fine example of a mixed-use destination and with its location, open spaces and high-quality space it’s no surprise that it is proving popular with businesses looking for their next home.”
Brindleyplace is a fully managed, award winning estate in the heart of Birmingham that attracts more than four million visitors a year to its 22 bars, cafés and restaurants, contemporary art gallery, Ikon, and National SEA LIFE Centre and on the doorstep of the The ICC and National Indoor Arena.
