The St David’s Partnership, owners of St David’s Cardiff, has announced the opening of a new 870 sq ft store for Breitling, the Swiss luxury technical watch brand, its first stand-alone boutique in Wales.
The Watches of Switzerland Group have launched the new Breitling store, opposite L’Occitane and Kiehls on the Hayes Arcade, in-line with the re-opening of non-essential retail in Wales. It features the brand’s full range, including their famous Navitimer, Professional, and Superocean Heritage models as well as the popular Avenger and Chronomat styles. The boutique also provides servicing facilities for new and existing owners.
Speaking on behalf of the St David’s Partnership, Russell Loveland, Senior Portfolio Director for Landsec, commented: “This new standalone Breitling store is the first of its kind in Wales, and is a fantastic addition to the growing St David’s line-up of new brands joining us this year. The strong sector performance highlights an exciting trend for increasingly premium watch brands, and we hope our guests will enjoy this new boutique store.”
In preparation for the re-opening of non-essential retail in the region, St David’s has reviewed all safety and social distancing measures onsite and is working closely with brands to ensure they are in-line with the most up to date government directives. Wider measures remain in place as implemented by the dedicated onsite team and are continually monitored. These include: hand sanitiser stations, comprehensive signage, designated queuing areas and one-way systems where possible – all ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
JLL and Cushman & Wakefield advised the St David’s Partnership, whilst Breitling dealt direct.
