London law firm, Howard Kennedy, has promoted Jade Chalmers and Rebecca Davison to the firm’s Partnership, substantially bolstering its Real Estate team with exceptional internal talent.
Jade has been Director of Planning within the Real Estate team since 2018, prior to which she was an Associate at Mishcon de Reya for 11 years. As Director of Planning, Jade’s clients span a wide range of residential and commercial property developers, alongside leading house builders, property companies, investment funds and high net worth individuals.
Rebecca has been a Senior Associate in the Real Estate team since 2017, prior to which she was a Senior Associate and Senior Counsel for Fox Williams and Locke Lord respectively. Rebecca’s practice focuses on all aspects of non-contentious commercial property transactions, advising on acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold properties, the real estate aspects of insolvency, portfolio asset management and a range of landlord and tenant matters.
Commenting on the promotions, Craig Emden, Managing Partner at Howard Kennedy, said: “We are delighted to promote Jade and Rebecca to the Partnership. It is always a source of pride to be able to recognise and celebrate internal talent. We wish Jade and Rebecca our congratulations and continued success in their new roles.”
Today’s news follows three promotions to partner in 2020 – Elizabeth Morley, Antonia Torr and Astrid Stanley – and continues a legacy of recognising the calibre of talent internally at Howard Kennedy.
