Knight Frank, the leading global property adviser, has expanded its market-leading Specialist Property Investment team with the dual appointments of James Bater as a Senior Surveyor and Francesca Sidoli through the Knight Frank graduate scheme.
Bater has over six years’ experience in the commercial property market with a focus on specialist property, particularly within the hotel sector, and specialises in development funding, development advisory, and long term, inflation linked investment transactions. He joins Knight Frank from BNP Paribas where he worked as a Chartered Surveyor. Sidoli joined Knight Frank on the graduate scheme in September 2019 and has worked in the City Investment and Valuations teams, before which she gained experience with both CBRE and Savills.
These appointments will enhance Knight Frank’s pioneering alternatives offering and bolster the Specialist Property Investment team, which has a decade-long track record of providing market-leading advice on both acquisitions and disposals.
Shaun Roy, Head of Hotels and Specialist Property Investment at Knight Frank, commented: “Our Specialist Property Investment team continues to grow and develop in line with the rapidly-evolving alternatives market which is experiencing increased interest from a wide range of investors. We are pleased to build our talent pipeline and welcome James and Francesca to the team who will enable us to broaden the skills and experience we are able to offer our clients.”
Knight Frank’s Specialist Investment team advises on a range of real estate assets and has transacted on over £1.1 billion of assets over the last 12 months including hotels, care homes, supermarkets and garden centres.
