The former offices of Red Cross off Rich Way in Brecon have been let after the charity moved out at the start of 2021. The building has been refurbished in readiness for new tenants, Caleb Roberts Insurance Services to move in. The letting sees the financial services sector tenant relocate into a modern office building with more space, improved facilities with staff and visitor parking in a convenient location in the town centre.
Chartered surveyors and commercial property agents, Stuart Hogg Property Consultants acted on behalf of the Landlord in negotiating the letting and commented, “It is encouraging to see a successful business expanding in Brecon with the larger offices offering an improved level of security and profile together with the convenience of a town centre location with parking.”
Local contractors, D & M Jones Developers were appointed to undertake the refurbishment works. Stuart Hogg commented, “The refurbishment included a complete redecoration inside and externally and replacement of the carpets. The work was carried out to a high standard and completed on time, which was really helpful in ensuring the transaction went through without any problems.”
Hugh Campbell, Managing Director of Caleb Roberts Insurance explained the rationale of the company’s relocation, “We find that the ability for our customers to have the convenience of parking is a huge advantage for us. We have seen growth in our business in other locations where this has been provided and expect to see a similar trend in Brecon. We think Oxford House will suit our requirements perfectly and when lockdown rules allow, we look forward to welcoming our existing and new customers into our offices. We also look forward to providing our Brecon staff with an improved working environment.”
