Richard Hibbard, director of Hibbz2 Ltd, has leased the former Burger King restaurant at Hollywood Park, Princess Margaret Way, Port Talbot from owners, Reel Cinemas Ltd.
The new tenant is a successful local operator looking to complete a high-quality fit-out of the building, offering a bistro/café and drive-thru coffee shop. The tenant has agreed a 10-year lease on this seafront building, extending approximately 3,500 sq. ft.
Richard Hibbard said: “I’m proud of the area I live in and passionate about investing in Port Talbot to help the town to improve. I want The Front to become a go to venue that people can come and enjoy the atmosphere and relax with the people closest to them.”
Nick Founds, Surveyor at RJ Chartered Surveyors, comments: “This letting represents a welcome show of confidence during troubling times for the hospitality sector. The new tenant will complement both Reel Cinemas and Indian restaurant Cinnamon Kitchen who are currently trading at Hollywood Park. Richard was brought up in the area and already trades from The Hideout Café, situated in Aberafan Shopping centre. He is a well-known local rugby star and I am sure he will make a success of this new venture”.
