A vacant industrial unit in Truro will enjoy a new lease of life as an indoor golf simulation centre, following a deal by property consultants Alder King.
Unit 1, Higher Newham Lane will soon be transformed into a state of the art centre where golf enthusiasts can improve their swing using a simulator that recreates some of the world’s top golf courses.
The property provides 1,274 sq ft (118 sq m) of warehouse space with a mezzanine. The tenant Truro Golf Lounge has taken the space on a six year lease.
Also on Higher Newham Lane, Alder King has let Unit 4 to P Abraham & Son, the motor repair business. Founded by Peter Abraham in 1969, this family-run business has grown over the decades to provide advanced vehicle body repair facilities from its base on Newham Road. Taking a new unit just 300 yards away at Higher Newham Lane will allow the business to meet continuing demand.
Unit 4, Higher Newham Lane provides 1,076 sq ft (100 sq m) of industrial workshop accommodation together with car parking. P Abrahams has taken the space on a three year lease from Roseworthy Properties.
Oliver Workman of Alder King’s Truro office says: “It’s good to see an innovative new business and a long-established firm both recognising the potential and flexibility of these properties on Higher Newham Lane and taking space in this location.”
