Cluttons, the property consultancy, has hired Robert Burke to head its project management and building consultancy teams, the latest in a raft of recent senior appointments that strengthen its multi-disciplinary service offer.
Burke joins from Lambert Smith Hampton where he was head of building consultancy for five years and previously led the London commercial surveying team at Watts Group where he spent 15 years. He has a strong track record across all client sectors and property types and specialises in technical due diligence, dilapidations, and development monitoring as well as employer’s agent, contract administration and project management.
Commenting on his new role, Robert Burke said: ‘I’m delighted to be joining Cluttons at such an exciting time for the business. They are one of the few property consultancies that truly embrace the multi-disciplinary team working ethos required to help client clients realise opportunity and manage risk throughout the property lifecycle.’
James Gray, managing partner at Cluttons said: ‘Robert’s proven track record and leadership experience will be key to helping our clients to create and protect value from their property assets through rapidly changing market conditions. I also look forward to working with Rob and his team to develop new services to help the property industry to rise to the net zero challenge.’
Burke’s arrival follows the recent appointments of Steve Cooper as head of transactional and development consultancy from BNP Paribas Real Estate, Jonathan Rhodes as head of valuation from GL Hearn, Raoul Veevers as head of planning from Montagu Evans, and Charlie Ardern and Ryan Jones who joined as Partners from Avison Young in Manchester.
