Following completion of the Leeds landmark development, the last remaining space has been launched by the developers within the transformed Majestic.
With the letting of three floors to Channel 4 for their new national headquarters and two floors to the leading legal services business Knights plc, the final space has now been released into the market place.
The space, to be known as Centre Stage, encompasses both the ground and lower ground floor of the Majestic, providing some 17,000 sqft and a dominant presence onto both Wellington Street, opposite the City’s railway station, and Quebec Street.

The historic building has been the subject of a comprehensive redevelopment, with Rushbond appointing Sir Robert McAlpine as main contractor. The works saw the full restoration of the exterior, with sensitive interventions including additional new floors, and the creation of a new atrium and Palm Court space, celebrating the grand entrance and circulation areas of the cherished Leeds asset.
The Majestic was constructed in 1921 as a ‘super-cinema’, before adopting new leases of life as a bingo hall and then as the Majestyk nightclub. In its new form, it has come to be recognised as a focal point for the City and a beacon for the ambitious growth plans of the City.
