Property agents and auctioneers CPBigwood have taken over the management of more than 500 properties on Birmingham’s Park Central complex.
A major client, who is not being named, purchased the freehold of part of the Crest Nicholson Regeneration site last year.
The move sees CP Bigwood begin managing 543 apartments from October 1. CPBigwood was formally launched on September 1 with the merger of Bigwood and Curry & Partners having taken place earlier in the year.
Brett Williams, partner in the firm’s residential service charge department and a former chairman of the Association of Residential Managing Agents, said: “This client becomes the department’s second biggest as a result of this acquisition.
“We have worked with them for 3-4 years and, on their behalf, have taken over a number of developments during the last two years, so impressed have they been with our service and ability to resolve previous management issues.
“This latest instruction is a major contract and we are very pleased to have been appointed.”
Following the merger between Bigwood and Curry & Partners, CPBigwood manages some 15,000 flats and apartments in 450 developments across the country.
Park Central is situated just off Birmingham city centre and is bordered by Bath Row and Lee Bank Middleway.
Properties are currently advertised for sale at £99,950, one bedroom apartments; £145,000, two bed apartments; and £224,950 for three bedroom townhouses.
Set in eight acres of landscaped public parkland, Park Central has been under construction since 2005.
