A new industrial/warehouse park currently under construction in Lutterworth is proving so popular that 50% of the units have been sold or let off plan, reports Commercial Property Consultancy, Wells McFarlane.
Tungsten Park is situated on Bilton Way, within Lutterworth’s well-established industrial area. Easily accessible from the town, M1 and M6, the new units are currently under construction by award-winning developer, Tungsten Properties.
“The appetite from manufacturers, investors and locally-based service businesses for high quality, light industrial/warehouse units like those as Tungsten Park has been exceptional,” explains Wells McFarlane’s Director, Andrew McFarlane Holt. “With the pandemic causing a huge surge in online retail, it’s unsurprising that businesses which rely on this trade need additional storage facilities, space to expand or a more centralised distribution hub, all of which Tungsten Park offers.”
Comprising a total 40,000 sq ft space, Tungsten Park will have 13 units, each with 6m eaves height, level loading doors, yard and designated parking.
Jenny Clarke, Development Surveyor at Tungsten Properties said: “We are delighted with the progress onsite and interest in this development. We bought this site as we knew there was pent up demand for small units in this location and this has been proven by deals done so far. We are aiming to complete onsite by early July (weather dependent!) and look forward to welcoming new occupiers to Tungsten Park.”
Andrew adds: “As Tungsten Park is still under construction, this presents a real opportunity for investors or occupiers to configure space to an exact specification. Units vary from 2,500 to 5,000 sq ft and are available for sale or let. With demand high, we encourage quick enquiries to avoid missing out on one the region’s top quality new industrial units.”
