Three further lettings have completed at Mileway’s holdings in Haydock, following the successful letting of 53,000 sq ft across two units in Q4 2020 on Boston Park.
Logistics supplier Wincanton, global water supplier Waterlogic, and New Age Group will take space at Boston Park, Withins Road and Link 580, Haydock Cross respectively.
Wincanton will occupy over 71,000 sq ft of space at the site. Waterlogic will take 12,472 sq ft on a 10-year lease, and New Age Group 5,716 sq ft on a 5-year lease.
Robert Kos, a director in JLL North West’s industrial and logistics team, commented: “The market remains very strong in the north west, as demonstrated by this tranche of high-quality lettings.
“The sector has continued to perform well despite the challenges presented by COVID and Brexit, and we’re confident that it will thrive as we move out of the pandemic.”
The site benefits from being strategically located between Manchester and Liverpool, adjacent to the A580 East Lancashire Road and within 1 mile of the M6 at junction 23.
The scheme is owned by last-mile logistics real estate company, Mileway, with JLL and B8RE joint agents on the scheme.
Mileway is the largest owner of last mile logistics real estate assets in Europe. It was established in 2019 and has a pan-European footprint, with over 1400 assets across ten major European economies.
