Property consultancy Myddelton & Major has been named in the top five of regional dealmakers by a prestigious national publication.
The long-established Salisbury, Andover and Westbury based firm took fourth place in the Estates Gazette Deals Competition 2020 for the South West region Industrial sector.
Estates Gazette is the influential weekly and online magazine of the UK commercial property industry.
Myddelton & Major was also named the most active agency in Wiltshire in 2020 for the ninth year running by Estates Gazette.
The firm’s commercial agency team comprises chartered surveyors Philip Holford, Dean Speer, Simon Lee, with Gary Mead and administrator Jody Williams.
Myddelton & Major Partner Dean Speer said: “We are delighted at our ranking and it shows we can hold our own with the major players in our industry.
“To be recognised alongside national firms must be credited to the dedication of our team.
“Our commercial agency, professional and management activities have seen our instruction base expand from our heartland in Wiltshire to Hampshire, Dorset and Somerset.
“We have brought to the market highly successful new developments in Amesbury, Warminster, Westbury and Frome. The industrial sector remains one of our core strengths”.
“Commercial property, like all sectors, has faced major challenges over the past 12 months due to Covid-19 and our team has managed to grow the business and earn us this eminent accolade”.
Using figures compiled by in-house contributory data exchange organisation EG Radius, Estate Gazette was able to reveal the top agents by deals volumes across key sectors.
The results come in a year in which agents were forced to adopt new ways of working and occupier demand changed radically.
