The former Travis Perkins premises in the popular Welsh seaside town of Tywyn have been sold to a local investor.
Offers of around £195,000 had been invited by Towler Shaw Roberts for the prominently located showroom/trade counter premises at Sandilands Road.
The detached showroom and storage property includes an extensive forecourt display area, secure rear yard with gated access, and generous on-site car parking.
Considered suitable for a variety of potential uses, subject to planning, the property provides versatile accommodation and extends in total to approximately 3,438 sq ft on a site area of 0.43 acres.
Toby Shaw, who handled the sale of the Tywyn premises for the Shrewsbury office of TSR, said: “The property is situated within a mixed commercial and residential area approximately half a mile north of Tywyn town centre and has the benefit of a long frontage to Sandilands Road.
“It provides a single storey showroom/trade counter building, with further storage and amenity buildings.
“It generated a good level of interest and we are pleased to have completed a sale to a local investor, who is yet to announce his future plans for the building.”
Tywyn is located on the Cardigan Bay coast in Gwynedd, on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, and has a main line railway station.
The town is approximately four miles north of Aberdovey and 12 miles west of Machynlleth via the A493.
