A fast-growing filtration specialist has expanded into over 10,000 sq ft of light industrial and office space in Ilkeston in a deal brokered by commercial property specialists NG Chartered Surveyors.
AB Components (ABC), which supplies filters and accessories for a vast array of applications and equipment, has moved into the 10,524 sq ft units, which are located on the Manners Industrial Estate in the Derbyshire town.
ABC was established in 2006 by James Edgar. It is the second time the company has expanded on the Manners Industrial Estate and the move sees the firm move from 6,000 sq ft premises. The company now employs over 20 people.
Ellis Cullen, who acted for landlord Heritage Properties (East Midlands) said: “These two units are exactly the sort of high-quality, modern space that growing companies such as AB Components are looking for at the moment.
“Our landlord client has invested heavily in ensuring that the units are as attractive to prospective tenants as possible, and that strategy has paid off handsomely, with a double deal sealed to AB Components, who we wish well in this, the latest chapter in their growth story.”
