The UK arm of Dutch packaging firm Audion Elektro has expanded its Derby presence by taking a lease of Unit 4, Centurion Way in a deal negotiated by Hugo Beresford of Salloway Property Consultants, on behalf of private landlord clients.
Audion Elektro Ltd are part of Audion Elektro B.V., which was established in Amsterdam in 1947 and has grown to become a leading name in the packaging industry, with a worldwide dealer network representing them in more than 65 countries. The firm specialises in the manufacture and distribution of a range of packaging machines.
Audion were keen to move to larger premises but were having difficulties finding the right property. Beresford commented “I was aware of Audion’s expansion plans and knew that they had been struggling to find a property which ticked all of their boxes. It was clear that Unit 4 was a near perfect match and so I got them around quickly and was able to agree terms within just a few days of the property hitting the market”.
“The premises will provide Audion with new UK headquarters and which will incorporate offices, workshop accommodation and a new showroom to showcase their equipment.”
Unit 4 Centurion Way provides offices and workshop accommodation of approximately 5,000 sq.ft., together with a mezzanine of 1,130 sq.ft. and a good-sized front yard which provides parking and ample loading space.
