The Bristol office of DTZ, a UGL company has acquired 6,400 sq ft of industrial / trade counter space in Plymouth on behalf of Unipart Automotive.
Unipart Automotive has taken the space at Units 325 – 328 Faraday Mill Trade Park. The estate is owned by London & West Country Estates. The deal involved the relocation of the existing tenant at the property.
Unipart Automotive was previously based at a 4,920 sq ft warehouse / workshop unit on Alvington Street in Cattedown but required larger premises to expand and combine with their Stonehouse Street branch. DTZ has since been instructed to market the Alvington Street vacant property which comprises a detached warehouse / workshop unit with two storey offices.
Philip Cranstone, Senior Surveyor at DTZ in Bristol commented: “Units 325 – 328 were a rare opportunity to secure prominent trade counter space and we moved quickly to relocate the existing tenant, allowing Unipart Automotive to take occupation.”
Cattedown is an established mixed commercial / residential area in central Plymouth.
Unipart Automotive is the UK’s largest independent supplier of car parts, workshop consumables and garage equipment to the aftermarket.
